Fountain Valley rehabilitates Newhope and other streets through Spring 2027
By Local Orange County news desk
The City of Fountain Valley starts rehabilitation and resurfacing of Newhope Street, Ward Street, Ellis Avenue, and Slater Avenue on Monday, October 26, 2026.
The project will replace damaged curb and gutter, pedestrian ramps, and sidewalk panels, and provide a new pavement for a smooth riding surface.
Construction will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, with at least one lane open to traffic at all times.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during peak travel time to minimize traffic delays and temporary lane closures.
